'Dairy' Revisited

Here's a supplemental shot of the theater sign, taken with a better camera.

Since these shots were taken (this one was taken on March 29) "Dairy" has been changed to "Diary", but last I saw they still had the "H" added to "wimpy."

Update 8-24-10: I just now now noticed "Ailce" in the title above. I wonder who put up the sign that day.

'Dairy' of a 'whimpy' kid

Maybe you can see it.

It's supposed to say "Diary of A Wimpy Kid". Oops!

This is the best shot I could get from Rt. 3. No, the sign and the post in the foreground aren't leaning. We were moving and the phone's camera evidently scans top to bottom as it takes the picture, so things moved left-to-right in the frame as we moved by.

Spongebob and Dora in Central Park

Luring kids to the furniture store.

I wonder what kind of licensing fees they paid to be able to legally promote their business with someone else's trademarked characters.

Outback remodeled

We hadn't heard they were remodeling, so it was a surprise. Looks nice but a bit dark.

Weird Art at Outback

Does anybody know the story behind this? We didn't get a good look, but the signature looks like A Nolan. There are several other paintings in the restaurant with the guys in black masks fighting soldiers.

Update: It's the Australian outlaw Ned Kelly and his gang. The art is prints of paintings by Sidney Nolan.

A Seat By The Fireplace at Panera

A perfect way to warm up on a cold rainy afternoon. Especially with a warm bread bowl of soup.
